Our team members Lucie and Amanda will be on hand to showcase and field questions, along with two of our esteemed Showbie Champions, Kelly and Amy:

Kelly TurcotteKelly Turcotte is a passionate fifth grade teacher at Inman School in Kansas. At FETC, she’ll be demonstrating the power of Showbie in her own classroom, including work she’s assigned and graded, as well as the materials her students create and turn in via Showbie. She’ll give tips and tricks that she uses in her classroom, and share the many helpful things her students have taught her. You can find out more about Kelly’s experience using Showbie here.

“Stop and ask me questions, tell me your challenges and let me prove to you how easy it is to transform your classroom into an efficient, paperless machine.” – Kelly Turcotte

amy-tongAmy Tong is an Instructional Technology Specialist at Azle ISD in Azle, Texas. Her experience in the classroom and working with other teachers has allowed her to see the value in Showbie, from increasing student engagement to making grading easier. She is also proud to say she’s almost completed her doctorate in Educational Leadership with a dissertation focus on mobile device integration in the elementary classroom. At FETC, she’ll be sharing how Showbie has transformed K-12 classrooms in her district.

“I’m looking forward to demonstrating how my district uses Showbie to not only replace worksheets, but also increase the creative uses of mobile devices and allow the students to share their work with their families.” – Amy Tong
