There are a variety of things that can cause notifications to not go through. Below are steps to troubleshoot this.

Troubleshooting not Receiving Email Notifications

  1. Check your Notification Settings, to make sure email notifications are turned on. Remember that you can set Custom Notifications by Class, so if you are not receiving notifications for a certain class, this could be why.

  2. Check you have the correct email address set. Click on your profile icon in your account to check this. If not, you can change your email address.

  3. Notifications are sent from no_reply@showbie.com. In your email inbox, search no_reply@showbie.com to see if these emails are going to a different email folder, or to Spam.

  4. If you are using a school email address, check with your school's IT team, to see if emails from no_reply@showbie.com are being blocked or held by the school's network.

  5. If you are still having no luck with receiving email notifications, contact our team at support@showbie.com and we can look into this more for you.
